Santa Cruz High School Junior, Holly Borg, President of the Interact Club at Santa Cruz High and Area Director for Interact has done more to make the world a better place than most adults three times her age. Borg was awarded the first annual "Boomerang Foundation You Get Back What You Give Award" which includes a $500 scholarship. December 2011: We are proud to announce that iSpot Compassion has created a joint venture with the Boomerang Project http://ping.fm/KcTwL in order to leverage the shared mission to ignite the power of young people to create a more compassion world and achieve greater personal success through meaningful community service and positive youth leadership. Same mission, same team.
We are coming together and collaborating toward a larger mission and greater impact under the new name: The Boomerang Foundation. The partnership gives iSpot broad national distribution and the Boomerang Project adds community service component to their existing leadership training programs.
